High John the Conqueror
Typically used in voodoo and siilar practices, this root is often used for spells for luck and money. The root reported to be named for a man who was a slave. The man was said to be extremely clever, and he frequently worked his way around the wishes of his masters due to his superior intellect. This "High John" and also this is the genesis for why the root is considered lucky.
Often included in mojo bags for luck, money bowls and similar. Sometimes used in court cases.
